If it's one thing i struggle with...it's giving everything over to God. I never knew it would be so hard after i actually saw the results of me always wanting to take control of things and do things my way. But! it always seems to happen in a subtle way that makes it hard to realize when it's actually happening. This also makes it hard to stop and wake up from my bad habit and find Jesus in the midst of it all.
As Christians we get things wrong some times, we may misjudge someone or even a specific situation. Truth is things don't always go our way, in fact we are indeed just only human.
Despite this, we have absolutely no excuse of our actions because we know something a lot of people don't. We know God! And he's a redeemer of time and everything else you could have ever imagine. He's an intercessor and he intervenes on our behalf. He pleas for us to God on our behalf....He loves us and doesn't want to see us crumble in our trials, tribulations and our bad habits.
It doesn't matter your background, appearance, your financial stance or even your intelligence. He loves and will use anyone he chooses, so we must remember that God uses the weak to shame the strong (1 Corinthians 1:27).
He's all powerfully, all knowing and all present and He only wants the very best for us.
He assures me everyday...because only the POWER of God can change any situation!
HE CAN TURN IT ALL AROUND FOR YOU IN ONLY AN INSTANCE.
Therefore even though i might get carried away, it's important to stop each and every day and ask God, "God what do you want me to do for you today?"
It's imperative that we put God first in our every move on a daily basis. Let's not forget who our King is. Let's give Him the praise, glory and honour He all so very much deserves (1 Thessalonians 5:18). He's amazing and he can do it for you too.
So today, let's start small..by asking Him to direct our step and show us the way (Psalm 119:133) .
Let's ask Him what does He needs from us and what can we do to be more obedient to Him. Let's ask Him to show us what it means to LET GO AND LET GOD.
It's okay to try, but don't try alone. Let God in, let Him rule over your steps and your plans (Psalm 119:133).
I promise friends, this Christian walk isn't easy but it's much more sweeter and so much more worth it than living without God's PURPOSE IN AND POWER OVER YOUR LIVES!
